SPRING VALLEY, Minn.—The 18th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree takes place Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 22-24, at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn. USMTS drivers will be racing for $5,000 to win the first two nights and a big $10,000 paycheck on Saturday.

But on Friday morning they’ll be swinging their drivers and slicing their balls at the annual Club Car Jamboree Open golf tournament.

The annual golf outing for racers, crew members, event officials and fans will tee off at 10 a.m. Friday at the Root River Country Club located five miles south of Spring Valley.

The contest is open to everybody, and fans are especially invited to join in the fun with USMTS drivers, crew members and officials.

The top three teams will score cash prizes and many other awesome prizes will also be awarded. There will be hole-in-one and longest putt contests too.

As in the past, the format for this year’s outing will be a four-person best-ball contest with a Texas-style shotgun start. Entry is $40 per person and covers nine holes of golf with cart, cash awards, prizes and a hearty meal.

The Root River Country Club is located just south of Spring Valley on Highway 63 (about five minutes from the race track). This challenging nine-hole golf course was built around the Root River and has many water hazards.
