KLGA 92.7FM to host Mid-Season race Party

ALGONA, Iowa -- Officials at KLGA 92.7FM announced today that their first annual Mid-Season Race Party will take place Thursday, June 8th at the Primetime Restaurant in Algona.

The event will start at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the restaurant’s lounge area. The Primetime will have food and drink specials throughout the evening.

Race fans can test their racing knowledge by playing the Primetime Racing Challenge. Kabrick Distributing is providing prizes courtesy of Budweiser, while the station’s two local speedways, Algona Raceway and the Pritchard Family Auto Stores Hancock County Speedway, will provide free admission passes as prizes.

The grand prize drawing will be two tickets to the July 1-2 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and IRL IndyCar Series events held at the Kansas Speedway.

Station General Manager, Bob Ketchum said that KLGA decided to host the mid-season party based on the success of their season ending party one year ago. “We packed the Primetime last year for our season championship party and thought it would be fun kick off the second half this season with a similar event.”

All race fans, sponsors, drivers, crew and car owners are invited to attend.

The Primetime Restaurant is located on Hwy 169 south in Algona.
