Maggard motors to North Central Arkansas Speedway win

YELLVILLE, Ark.—Significant afternoon rainfall pushed back the start of this evening’s race program at North Central Arkansas Speedway Friday, but racing did get underway after a one-hour delay..

The Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature got underway with Michael Maggard and Jason Snodgrass pacing the field off turn four to the waving green flag.

Maggard put himself in the lead heading down the back straight and held off every challenge Snodgrass would mount over the course of the event on the way to a flag-to-flag win.

Snodgrass finished second with Tanner Calhoun claiming third in his first visit to the track.

Racing action continues this Friday night Sept. 2nd with a full race program. North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and those with a military ID, $5 for those ages 7 through 15 with 6 and under getting in free.
