WARRENSBURG, Mo.—Central Missouri Speedway has a pair of events on the radar this weekend prior to opening night the following Saturday with the fourth annual CMS car show and the lone test and tune practice session later in the evening.

Saturday begins with the car show taking place at the Hawthorne Plaza Shopping Center located at 1125 N. Simpson Drive in Warrensburg (located behind Wal-Mart) in front of the RE/MAX United which is sponsoring the ‘Best Appearing’ plaques as voted on by car show attendees.

Warrensburg will be a buzz with a classic car show and Old Drum Days events on Saturday along with the track’s car show. Car show attendees may take photos with the drivers and have the rare opportunity to see the cars up close. Fans may also pick up a track schedule for the coming season.

Once the car show finishes up at 3 p.m. drivers will head to the track for the one and only test and tune practice session of the year. Pit gates will open at 3:30 with practice beginning soon after and lasting until approximately 8 p.m. Fans may attend the practice session for free in the pit-side grandstands. The front side will not be open. All pit passes are $30 for the practice session.
