WARRENSBURG, Mo.—Unfortunately, rain is not predicted to stop falling in the Warrensburg area until after midnight Friday into Saturday. The grounds and pit area are already heavily saturated and with highs only predicted in the 60s with considerable cloudiness, we have decided to cancel racing for Saturday, May 30, 2015.

We will make up the rained out $1,500 to win event from last week next Saturday, June 6th. Only those cars that were locked in from the night's heat races on May 23rd will be in the race. However, we will be running a full race program after the makeup USRA Modified feature on Saturday, June 6th in which all drivers may participate. The makeup USRA Modified feature will be first, followed by an all-new program on June 6th.

Stay tuned to www.centralmissourispeedway.net for future announcements regarding make-up features for the Lightning Sprints and Pure Stock special events in addition to the rained out Street Stock event from May 23rd. The CMS staff is set to meet this week to discuss make-up options in taking into consideration drivers, fans, and the schedule. Once CMS determines future makeup dates for each of these car classes, announcements will be made via the track's website, Facebook, Twitter, and E-mail group. For Saturday, June 6th, Pit Gates open at 4:30, Admission Gates open at 5, driver's pill draw cutoff at 6:15 (no passing points awarded if late draw), Drivers Meeting at 6:30, Hot Laps at 7, and Racing at 7:30!

General Adm: Adults $12, Military/Students w/ID $10, Seniors 65 and over $10, Kids 6 to 12 yrs $5, all children five and under FREE! Permanently confined to wheelchair, FREE! CMS is located just past the round-a-bout on Hwy 13 three and a half miles north of Warrensburg, Missouri from the junction of Highways 50 and 13.
