WARRENSBURG, Mo.--Week 3 of the 2015 Central Missouri Speedway season takes place Saturday evening among the USRA Modifieds, plus the track’s four other weekly classes: Street Stocks, Lightning Sprints, B-Mods and Pure Stocks.

Last week, veteran driver Tim Karrick broke through in USRA Modified action.

Several drivers and fans expressed their gratitude for a stellar race surface that was fast and smooth throughout the night. Jacob Ebert in B-Mods and Brett Wood in Street Stocks captured their second-consecutive victories last week while Jeremiah Wilson celebrated an emotional first-ever CMS triumph with his family and friends cheering him on in Pure Stock action.

Several drivers have already established themselves as potential track champions for the year but the season is still young and there are well over 20 events remaining, even still, it is hard not to recognize the accomplishments of drivers in the upper reaches of the point standings.

In the USRA Modified division, Basehor, Kansas driver leads nearly an all-Kansas top five. Lewis Jackson of Wellsville, Kansas holds down second place followed by fellow Kansans Darron Fuqua and Dalton Kirk. Five-time speedway champion Richard Layne remains in the fifth position.

CMS is located just past the round-a-bout on Hwy 13 three and a half miles north of Warrensburg, Missouri from the junction of Highways 50 and 13. From Interstate 70 Higginsville/Warrensburg Hwy 13 exit, the track is located 12.5 miles south on Hwy 13. On race day call 660-747-2166 for race status.
