WARRENSBURG, Mo.--The Central Missouri Speedway car show officially kicks off the 2015 CMS race season this Saturday, April 4, in the parking lot in front of The Round-a-Bout Cafe in Warrensburg (located behind Wal-Mart).

Drivers wishing to display their cars should email info@centralmissourispeedway.net or leave a private message on the track's Facebook page. Participating drivers need to be unloaded and in place by 10:45 a.m. The car show takes place from 11 to 3 p.m. Bring the kids to take pictures with and to meet the drivers.

After the Car Show wraps up, plan on joining CMS for ‘Today’s New Hit Country’ 95.3 FM KDKD opening night action featuring USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Lightning Sprints, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks. Pit gates will open after the car show. Drivers are encouraged to arrive at the track early to complete registration paperwork. Grandstands open at 5 p.m., driver’s meeting takes place at 6:30, hot laps begin at 7 and racing at starts at 7:30.

All total, 26 nights of racing are planned for the 2015 race season at CMS. There’s still time to buy season passes by calling 816-229-1338 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday or by visiting the track on opening night, ask for Susan Walls!

Adult admission is $12, Senior Citizens 65 and older $10, Military w/I.D. $10, Kids ages six to twelve $5, children five and under are free. Admission is free for anyone permanently confined to a wheelchair. Weekly pit pass is $30. For Saturday, April 4, 2015, Warrensburg Chamber members receive half off their grandstand admission by showing their member card.
