WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Less than two weeks ago, CMS officially wrapped up its 2014 race season. Throughout the year CMS hosted 19 nights of competition for drivers in the weekly racing divisions that included USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks, plus a wide-variety of guest classes.

Although racing is now complete at CMS for the year, drivers and fans are invited to attend one more event at the track this Saturday, September 27 during the Third-Annual Hog Roast beginning at 7 p.m. A $5 cover charge will get you into the party featuring food, fun, entertainment, games, karaoke, and camaraderie! The event takes place in the CMS Tech Building located on the pit side of the speedway. There is plenty of parking so round up your racing buddies and join us rain or shine!

In 2014, Terry Schultz of Sedalia collected four main event wins on his way to a second-consecutive Modified title at CMS. Schultz is currently embattled in a bout for the overall USRA National Title, which ends in mid-October. Dean Wille of Warrensburg garnered the B-Mod title this season by registering six main events throughout the year in his UCM/SAE #68 B-Mod.

The CMS Championship Banquet takes place at the Courtyard by Marriott, Adams Pointe Conference Center in Blue Springs, Missouri on Saturday, November 15 at 6 p.m. For tickets, contact Susan Walls at 816-229-1338 or Karen Darling at 660-229-0952. Drivers wishing to honor sponsors, crewmembers, car owners, etc., with additional plaques need to contact Karen Darling by October 15 to place orders for additional awards.
