SPRING VALLEY, Minn. -- Deer Creek Speedway is proud to present the 2nd Annual Valley Transportation National Combine Demolition Derby. Last years event was a huge success with the largest crowd in history at the facility on hand to witness the activities. This year 19 combines have verbally committed to participate in the derby which will begin at 7:00 on Thursday July 15th.

First up in the order of events is the $100 award to the best decorated combine of the event. Some of the participants are going all out on the design and decoration of the combines.

Get there early for the best seats with pre race entertainment provided by CSR (previously known as Booker Mini) who will be playing before the event, during the breaks and after the event is concluded.

This event pays $1000 to the winner and is sponsored by Hyland Motors of Spring Valley, Marzolf Implement Co of Spring Valley, Isenberg Equipment of Spring Valley & LeRoy and Matejcek Implement of Faribault. The title sponsor Valley Transportation of Grand Meadow is offering free trucking within a 50 mile radius of the track to help facilitate getting the competitors to the track.

Lots of gifts and fun for the whole family as over $2000 worth of toys will be distributed to the kids throughout the evening.

This is a great way to kick off the Root River Antique Historical Power Association's Show located right next to the Deer Creek Speedway and Campground.
