The 5th annual USMTS Featherlite Fall Jamboree next up for the USMTS September 18-20 at Deer Creek

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. -- The United States Modified Touring Series is gearing up for their biggest event of the year as the 5th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree is set for September 18-20 at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN. More than $20,000 has been added to the purse for this season, which will see the winner of the Saturday night main event pocket the $10,000 winners paycheck. Last season more than 110 modifieds checked in for the three-day extravaganza that saw Jason Hughes from Colcord, OK pick up the $2000 win on Thursday, with Kelly Shryock taking the $4000 paycheck on Friday. On Saturday night the three wide start seen Mark Noble come from fifteenth and take home the $7000 winners grand prize. Many changes have been made again this season as more classes have been added to the race program. This season on Thursday night the USMTS modifieds will race for $2000 to win and $250 to start the thirty car A-main. Also running will be the Stock Cars $700 to win and the Hobby Stocks $500 to win. After the races on Thursday USMTS and Deer Creek will be providing entertainment with Karaoke after the races. On Friday night the USMTS modifieds will race again with the winner taking home the $4000 paycheck with all drivers in the A-main guaranteed $400. Also running on Friday will be the Wissota Sanctioned Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, and Street Stocks.

After the races on Friday night fans and crews will be treated to the annual feed this season provided by Sleep Inn and Suites, Featherlite, Deer Creek Speedway and USMTS. This will be after the races on Friday night and Karaoke will once again be playing under the tent. Saturday will be the big night of racing and will get underway at 6pm.

The Wissota Super Stocks will be running last chance races and the main event will pay $2000 to the winner. The Wissota Midwest Mod will run last chance races and the main event will pay $1500 to the winner. The USMTS modified will be the final races of the night and will see the non-qualifier feature pay $1000 to win with the USMTS Featherlite main event paying $10,000 to win and $1000 to start the three wide thirty car main event.

Racing will get underway each night at 6:30pm except Saturday with racing slated for 6pm.
