Ahrendt returns to I-90 Speedway winners circle

HARTFORD, S.D. -- Cody Ahrendt returned to I-90 Speedway for the first time in over two months and grabbed his second USRA B-Mod feature win.

Ahrendt came from the third row to immediately challenge Aaron Wiersma. Wiersma fought a tight race car while leading the first seven laps.

Ahrendt shot by on lap 8 and led the rest of the way.

Dave Kennedy was the only other driver to get by Wiersma as he finished second.

Kennedy's impressive run started from the sixth row and it moved him to within nine points of Tim Dann atop the point standings.

Brock Hess came from the seventh row to finish fourth ahead of Dennis Martin.
