Allen takes feature win, McAninch crowned Mid-Season Champ at Humboldt Speedway

HUMBOLDT, Kan. -- Humboldt Speedway celebrated Friday night by crowning Ryan McAninish as the USRA Modified mid-season champion.

Reigning track champion John Allen put on what really amounted to a driving clinic, turning in a flawless performance on his way to victory.

Justin Rexwinke came through the field to finish a strong second, with McAninsh third, Scott Daniels fourth and Dalton Kirk fifth.

Next week, 'The Hummer' will be racing on Wednesday, July 3, with $2,000 to win the USRA Modified feature. There will be no racing on Friday, July 5.
