Checkers wave for Bailes, Patton at Revolution Park


MONROE, La. (Oct. 4, 2025)—On Saturday, the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series roared into Revolution Park, delivering high-octane action in the USRA Limited Mods and Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks divisions.

Local drivers and out-of-state contenders battled fiercely, with standout performances lighting up the Louisiana night.

In the USRA Limited Mod 15-lap feature, Ethan Bailes of Elizabeth surged to victory, holding off Pollock’s Derrick Lofton, who finished second.

Jarred Wallace of Farmerville claimed third, followed by Colton Davis of Prairieville in fourth and Joey Simmons of Warren, Ark., rounding out the top five.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stock 20-lap feature saw Ruston’s Wayne Patton dominate from the pole to secure the win. Caleb Smith of Chatham took second, with Matthew Driskill, also of Ruston, finishing third.

West Monroe’s Cecil Ross grabbed fourth, and Sterlington’s Cody Dilmore completed the top five.
