Davis, Barker, Ragsdale, Johnston triumph at Tri-State Speedway’s 55th Tillman Evans Track Championships

POCOLA, Okla. (Sept. 27, 2025)—On Saturday night, the 55th Tillman Evans Track Championships electrified Tri-State Speedway as part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, showcasing fierce competition across USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, and Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks.
Jake Davis, Devin Barker, Dalton Ragsdale, and Neil Johnston emerged as victors in their respective A Features, thrilling fans at the historic Oklahoma track.
In the USRA Modifieds A Feature, Jake Davis of Hackett, Ark., led from the pole to secure the win. Jacob Campbell of Hackett, Ark., finished second, followed by Sam Osman of Spiro in third. Johnny Bone Jr. of Pea Ridge, Ark., took fourth, with Weston Holman of Springdale, Ark., in fifth. Jason Payton of Greenwood, Ark., claimed sixth, followed by Chris Lewis of Springdale, Ark., in seventh.
The USRA Stock Cars A Feature saw Devin Barker of Elkins, Ark., charge from second to take the victory. Brandon Hunter of Van Buren, Ark., finished second, with Jimmy McGarrah of Huntsville, Ark., in third. Shaun Pinkerton of Cedarville, Ark., took fourth, followed by Daniel Tarkington of Checotah in fifth. Stan Anderson of Prairie Grove, Ark., finished sixth, with Marshall Penson of Van Buren, Ark., in seventh. Corey Howell of Huntsville, Ark., claimed eighth, followed by Justin Johnson of Van Buren, Ark., in ninth.
In the USRA B-Mods A Feature, Dalton Ragsdale of Muskogee led from the sixth spot to claim the win. Dan Culp of Hindsville, Ark., took second, followed by Jaxon Ledford of Greenwood, Ark., in third. Racen Stacy of Muskogee finished fourth, with Devin Barker of Elkins, Ark., in fifth. Wyatt O’Neal of Muskogee took sixth, followed by Colton Skiles of Salina in seventh. Jake Davis of Hackett, Ark., finished eighth, with Ty O’Neal of Muskogee in ninth and Dylan Reynolds of Barling, Ark., rounding out the top 10.
The Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks A Feature was dominated by Neil Johnston of Fort Smith, Ark., who started second and held on for the victory. Grant Davis of Muldrow finished second, followed by Justin Johnson of Van Buren, Ark., in third. Andrew Bohanan of Stigler took fourth, with Kenneth Bourland of Fort Smith, Ark., in fifth. Wesley Bourne of Rock Island claimed sixth, followed by Christopher Patterson of Muldrow in seventh. Steven Butler of Cameron took eighth, with Rowdy Bonewell of Rudy, Ark., in ninth and Tom Paulson of Spiro completing the top 10.
The night’s intense heat races and features underscored the competitive spirit at Tri-State Speedway, capping a memorable championship event.
