VADO, N.M. (Aug. 23, 2025)—The Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series also took to the track at Vado Speedway Park on Saturday night with two classes of competitors providing exciting feature races for the fans.

In the USRA Modified feature, Jake Gallardo of Las Cruces drove from an 11th-place starting position to secure the victory. Carlos Ahumada Jr. of El Paso, Texas, finished second, while Lucas Ward of El Paso, Texas, came in third. The top five was completed by Fito Gallardo of Las Cruces and Nick Rivera, also of Las Cruces.

The USRA Stock Car feature saw Hunter Sandy of Albuquerque take the checkered flag after starting 10th. Arturo Ordoñez of El Paso, Texas, finished second, and Eric McNutt of Las Cruces was third. Zach McCoy of Las Cruces finished fourth, with Devon Jobin of Alamogordo completing the top five.
