Faulkner conquers The Rev's Bayou Battle

MONROE, La. (Aug. 23, 2025)—Revolution Park hosted the final night of the Battle on The Bayou on Saturday, part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series schedule.
Dalton Faulkner of Cut and Shoot, Texas, emerged victorious in the Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks, taking home the $5,000 top prize.
In a massive field of cars that required multiple heats and B Features, Faulkner drove a spectacular race to secure the feature win after starting second. He was joined on the podium by former Sunoco USRA Factory Stock national champ Neil Kemp of Mineral Springs, Ark., in second, and Craig Pursley of New Waverly, Texas, in third.
Mason Martin of Kaufman, Texas, captured the fourth spot, and Travis Hudnall of Liberty, Texas, completed the top five finishers at the finish line.
The night's hard charger was Jeffrey Abbey of Rhome, Texas, who clawed his way to a seventh-place results after starting 20th on the grid.
