McNabb, Kaup, Lindsey triumph at Route 66 Motor Speedway


AMARILLO, Texas (July 26, 2025)—Saturday night’s Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action at the Route 66 Motor Speedway brought intense competition across three classes, with Sammy McNabb, Jeffrey Kaup and Austin Lindsey leading the charge in the USRA Modified, USRA Limited Mod and USRA Tuner features, respectively.

In the USRA Modified feature, McNabb of Amarillo surged from seventh to claim victory in a 13-car field. A.J. Sharpensteen, also of Amarillo, finished second, followed by Vince Lucas of Elk City, Okla., in third. Braden Elliott of Amarillo took fourth, and Braden Howell, also from Amarillo, rounded out the top five.

The USRA Limited Modified feature saw Kaup of Woodward, Okla., charge from seventh to secure the win in a 19-car field. Braedyn Kowalewski of Panhandle took second, with J.P. Vasquez Jr. of Lubbock finishing third. Coleten Agee of Bushland claimed fourth, and Scott Shipley of Lubbock completed the top five.

In the USRA Tuner feature, Austin Lindsey of Canyon overtook the field from the second starting spot to earn the victory. Teddy Lindsey, also of Canyon, finished second, followed by Marcos Tobar of Amarillo in third. Bradix Greer of Erick, Okla., took fourth, and Mekayla Wynne of Canyon rounded out the top five.
