EAGLE RIVER, WIis. (July 22, 2025)—For hometown driver Dave Bennett, the 2025 season has been one of mechanical breakdowns and much frustration for the veteran racer.

Bennett sought redemption and got it Tuesday night at the Eagle River Speedwayas he outraced fellow front row starter Guy Carley into the lead at the drop of the green to open the USRA Late Model feature presented by .

Bennett kept his distance from his foes and went on to win in the caution-free event.

Stockholm’s Lucas Peterson, Jesse Aho of Twin Lakes, Mich., Eagle River’s Carley and Shawano’s Aaron Reivitis rounded out the top five finishers.

Weekly Tuesday night racing resumes July 29 with a kids coin and candy toss as an added attraction with the first green flag flying at 7 p.m.
