Hughes, Palmer, Ragsdale, Butler command Tri-State Speedway

POCOLA, Okla. (July 12, 2025)—Trevor Hughes, H Palmer, Dalton Ragsdale and Steven Butler all claimed victories in their respective classes as the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series thrilled fans at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday night.

In the USRA Modified feature, Hughes of Westville put on a dominant display, leading from the pole position to secure the win. A consistent force in the Modified ranks, Hughes showcased his skill on the fast Tri-State oval.

He was followed by Jacob Campbell of Hackett, Ark., in a strong second-place effort, and Sam Osman of Spiro, who earned a podium finish in third. Rounding out the top five were Mike Hines of Van Buren, Ark., in fourth, and Drake Long of Stilwell in fifth.

The USRA Stock Car main event saw Palmer of Muldrow emerge victorious. Starting from the outside pole, Palmer quickly took command and held off a competitive field for the win.

Conner Kuykendall of Little Rock, Ark., finished second, maintaining a strong presence throughout the race. Randy Weaver of Little Rock, Ark., charged from sixth to secure third, while Brandon Hunter of Van Buren, Ark., navigated from ninth to fourth. Jeff Tennant of Greenwood, Ark., who started on the pole, completed the top five.

In the USRA B-Mod feature, Dalton Ragsdale of Muskogee made an impressive charge from sixth to claim the top spot. Ragsdale's relentless pursuit through the field paid off with a well-deserved victory.

Gregory Muirhead of Mabank, Texas, finished a solid second after starting on the pole. Racen Stacy of Muskogee, took third, with Jaxon Ledford of Greenwood, Ark., making a significant move from eighth to fourth. Kort Morgan of Muskogee rounded out the top five.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stock division saw Steven Butler of Cameron lead from flag to flag, capturing a wire-to-wire victory. Butler's commanding performance highlighted the competitive nature of the Factory Stock class.

Wesley Bourne of Rock Island secured second place, while Christopher Patterson of Muldrow finished third. Grant Davis of Muldrow took fourth, and Freddy Hogrefe of Cameron completed the top five finishers.
