FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. (June 27, 2025)—Friday night’s WHTL Busch Light Night at Mississippi Thunder Speedway electrified fans with the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series as five competitors claimed feature victories.

The high-octane event at the Fountain City track set the stage for the upcoming USRA Northern Lights Modified Series plus USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, and USRA Hobby Stocks on Friday, July 11, available to watch live at www.racindirt.tv.

In the USRA Modified feature, Alex Williamson of Rushford, Minn., took the win, followed by Keith Foss of Winona in second. Brandon Davis of Hayfield, Minn., finished third, with Parker Hale of Grand Meadow, Minn., in fourth and Darrell Nelson of Hermantown, Minn., in fifth.

The USRA Stock Car feature saw Jacob Bleess of Chatfield, Minn., secure the victory, with Brayden Gjere of Mabel, Minn., in second. Brandon Hare of Elma, Iowa, took third, followed by Levi Sand of Caledonia, Minn., in fourth and Chanse Hollatz of Clear Lake, Iowa, in fifth.

In the USRA B-Mod feature, Dustin Kruse of Baltic, S.D., claimed the top spot, followed by Taylor Skauge of Caledonia in second. Jett Sorensen of Rochester, Minn., finished third, with Dan Hovden of Decorah, Iowa, in fourth and Ryan Olson of Strum in fifth.

The USRA Late Model feature was won by Steven O'Brien Jr. of Red Wing, Minn., with Derek Nelson of Buffalo City in second. Kory Ressie of Alma took third, followed by Justin Sass of Elgin, Minn., in fourth and Cade Nelson of Hermantown, Minn., in fifth.

In the USRA Hobby Stock feature, Caden Helle of Garnavillo, Iowa, took the checkered flag, followed by Scott Spilde of Cresco, Iowa, in second. Jason Newkirk of Austin, Minn., finished third, with Travis Krause of Buffalo City in fourth and Steve Larson of Decorah, Iowa, in fifth.
