WEST UNION, Iowa (June 20, 2025)—Friday night’s Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series at Fayette County Speedway delivered intense racing action, with Derek Dettmann, Dan Hovden, Daryl Moss, and Perry Kessel taking top honors in their respective classes.

In the USRA Stock Cars, Derek Dettmann of McGregor, started fourth and drove to victory. Jason Schlangen of Cresco, finished second, followed by Dylan Clinton of West Union, in third. Lynn Panos of Calmar, took fourth, and Casey Colsch of Caledonia, Minn., rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mods saw Dan Hovden of Decorah, charge from third to secure the win. Ben Moudry of Protivin, came in second, with Dale Schwamman of Fort Atkinson, in third. Alex Zwanziger of Walker, finished fourth, and Ashton Pankow of Elma, completed the top five.

In the USRA Hobby Stock man event, Daryl Moss of West Union, surged from fifth to claim the victory. Taylor Donlan of Decorah, took second, followed by Junior Boyer of Calmar, in third. Ryan Crooks of Ionia, finished fourth, and Arthur Schott of Clermont, was fifth.

The USRA Tuner feature featured Perry Kessel of Cresco, starting second and holding off challengers for the win. Jeremy Hills of Postville, finished second, with Tom Kessel of Waukon, in third. Nolan Lerch of West Union, took fourth, and Dalton Fels of Calmar, rounded out the top five.

The night also included a makeup USRA Stock Car feature from May 16, won by Dylan Clinton of West Union, with Lynn Panos of Calmar, in second, Josh Roney of Postville, in third, Derek Dettmann of McGregor, in fourth, and Casey Colsch of Caledonia, Minn., in fifth.
