FAIRMONT, Minn. (June 20, 2025)—Friday night’s Hall of Fame Night at Fairmont Raceway featured exciting battles in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, with Dustin Wiederhoeft, Myles Michehl, James Richert, Jeremy Wegner, and Jerry Coopman claiming victories in their respective classes.

In the USRA Modified class, Dustin Wiederhoeft of Fairmont, Minn., started second and took the win. Roger Nielsen of Fairmont, Minn., finished second, followed by Josh Ruby of Lakota, Iowa, in third. Lyle Sathoff of Sherburn, Minn., took fourth, and Lee Beemer of Fairmont, Minn., rounded out the top five.

The USRA Stock Car class saw Myles Michehl of Fort Dodge, Iowa, lead from the pole to secure the victory. Luke Sathoff of Jackson, Minn., came in second, with Ben Petersen of Swea City, Iowa, in third. Cade Lehr of Fairmont, Minn., finished fourth, and Chance Larson of Welcome, Minn., completed the top five.

In the USRA B-Mod class, James Richert of Comfrey, Minn., dominated from the pole to claim the win. Ty Griffith of Blairsburg, Iowa, took second, followed by Jayden Oskerson of Fairmont, Minn., in third. Klay Beemer of Fairmont, Minn., finished fourth, and Jeff Carter of Mapleton, Minn., was fifth.

The USRA Hobby Stock class featured Jeremy Wegner of Greattinger, Iowa, starting second and taking the checkered flag. Gavin Bussinger of Granada, Minn., finished second, with Parker Anderson of Welcome, Minn., in third. Joshua Monson of Clear Lake, Iowa, took fourth, and Chad Volk of Lake Crystal, Minn., rounded out the top five.

In the USRA Tuner class, Jerry Coopman of Mankato, Minn., led from the pole to secure the win. Slade Fitzgerald of Sherburn, Minn., finished second, followed by Dale Gatton of Fairmont, Minn., in third. Bryson Hatfield of Fairmont, Minn., took fourth, and Nate Coopman of Mankato, Minn., completed the top five.

The event celebrated racing legends with a packed field of competitors and enthusiastic fans.
