SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (June 14, 2025)—Saturday night’s Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series event at Deer Creek Speedway delivered thrilling action across multiple classes, with drivers battling for top spots on the high-banked dirt oval on Pink Out Night.

In the USRA Modifieds feature, Gary Christian of Broken Bow, Okla., surged to victory from the sixth starting position. Zach Brom of Winona took second, followed by Parker Hale of Grand Meadow in third. Alex Williamson of Rushford secured fourth, and Josh Angst of Winona rounded out the top five.

The USRA Stock Cars feature saw Danny Cole of Lansing, Iowa, claim the win from the fifth starting spot. Brayden Gjere of Mabel finished second, with Chris Hovden of Cresco, Iowa, taking third. Jacob Bleess of Chatfield earned fourth, and Travis Shipman of Mason City, Iowa, completed the top five.

In the USRA B-Mods, two feature races showcased fierce competition. In Feature 1, Hunter Kennedy of St. Ansgar, Iowa, took the checkered flag, followed by Cole Boston of Lindstrom in second. Christopher Deno of Mantorville claimed third, Kaeden Bronner of Austin took fourth, and Dennis Dunbar of Winona finished fifth. In Feature 2, Caden Neisius of Hastings led the way, with Billy Steinberg of Utica in second. Les Duellman of Winona secured third, Noah Grinstead of Austin took fourth, and Mitch Weiss of Scandia finished fifth.

The USRA Hobby Stocks feature was dominated by Nick Schwebach of Spring Valley, who started on the pole and held on for the win. Luke Schluetter of New Hampton, Iowa, finished second, followed by Dustin Doughty of Hudson, Wis., in third. Travis Krause of Buffalo City, Wis., took fourth, and Joshua Monson of Clear Lake, Iowa, rounded out the top five.

Racing action resumes next Saturday, June 21, with another round of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series. featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.
