Smith wires USRA B-Mods at Valley Speedway


GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (May 31, 2025)—Valley Speedway hosted an exciting Saturday night for the Feed the Kids Lunch Program, with the USRA B-Mods division delivering a thrilling Feature as part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, supporting a great cause to benefit local children.

In the USRA B-Mods Feature, Mark Smith of Auburn, Kan., took the victory, leading from the pole position and holding off a strong field. Austin Charles of Basehor, Kan., finished second after starting fifth, while Jake Richards of Lansing, Kan., claimed third from the second spot. Travis Alexander of Tonganoxie, Kan., secured fourth, starting fourth, and Kameron Grindstaff of Independence rounded out the top five, advancing from sixth.

The night combined competitive racing with community spirit, as the Feed the Kids Lunch Program event drew a supportive crowd to cheer on the drivers and contribute to a worthy cause. Heat races set the stage for the Feature, with Mark Smith and Jake Richards each claiming wins to build momentum, while Austin Charles’ charge through the field highlighted the night’s intense battles.
