LAWTON, Okla. (May 31, 2025)—Lawton Speedway hosted a thrilling Saturday night of racing action for the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, with the USRA Modifieds, USRA Limited Mods, and Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks divisions delivering intense competition to a packed crowd.

In the USRA Modifieds Feature, Jeff Taylor of Locust Grove, Ark., took the victory, starting second and holding off a strong challenge. Justin Cox of Cache finished second after starting fourth, followed by Jason Hilliard of Cache in third from the pole position. Josh Cournoyer of Wichita Falls, Texas, charged from eighth to fourth, and Treven Geter of Lindsay rounded out the top five, starting sixth.

The USRA Limited Mods Feature saw Jason Hilliard of Cache claim the win, leading from the pole position. Mitchell Henson of Indiahoma finished second after starting fourth, while Race Elliott of Clinton took third from the sixth spot. Terrell Evans of Cache secured fourth, advancing from seventh, and Bryce Davis of Wichita Falls, Texas, completed the top five, starting ninth.

In the Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks Feature, Terrell Evans of Cache surged from seventh to take the checkered flag. Johnathan Jarvis of Oklahoma City finished second after a strong run from 11th, followed by Stephen Torrez of Martha in third from the third spot. Robert Sanders of Iowa Park, Texas, took fourth from the pole, and Jose Salcido of Altus rounded out the top five, starting eighth.

The night showcased fierce battles across all divisions, with local drivers like Jason Hilliard and Terrell Evans shining by doubling up with heat and Feature wins. The competitive heat races set the stage for dramatic charges, with Jarvis and Evans thrilling the crowd with their climbs through the field in the Factory Stocks.
