ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa (May 30, 2025)—Rapid Speedway sprang into action Friday night for Ladies Night, delivering thrilling competition in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series. USRA Stock Cars, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks drivers battled fiercely, captivating fans with intense racing on the Lyons County Fairgrounds clay oval.

In the USRA Stock Car Feature, Levi Vander Weide of Sioux Falls, S.D., held off the field from second to claim the victory. Colby Klaassen of Little Rock took second after starting third, followed by Scott Overgaard of Luverne, Minn., in third. Spenser Kalass of Luverne, Minn., secured fourth, and Tanner Vanden Top of Rock Rapids rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mod Feature saw Tyler Johnson of Montrose, S.D., surge from fifth to take the checkered flag. Tracy Johnson of Lake Preston, S.D., finished second, while Lyndon Johnson of Montrose, S.D., took third from the pole. Oliver Sackett of Pierson claimed fourth, and Derek Van Veldhuizen of Rock Rapids completed the top five.

In the USRA Hobby Stocks, nin-time USRA national champion Dustin Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, S.D., charged from ninth to secure the win. Landon Krohn of Rowena, S.D., took second, followed by Nick Brady of Sioux Falls, S.D., in third. Nate Regnerus of Sioux Center claimed fourth, and Tyler Schlumbohm of Sioux Falls, S.D., rounded out the top five.
