DECORAH, Iowa (May 24, 2025)—Winneshiek Raceway roared to life Saturday night, hosting a high-octane showcase of dirt track racing as part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, featuring the USRA KS Engineering Iron Man Stock Car Series driven by Terminator Chassis.

The event, which paid $2,000 to the USRA Stock Car winner, delivered thrilling action across multiple divisions, with Jason Schlangen of Cresco claiming his first Iron Man win of the season, marking the 10th different winner in 10 Iron Man races in 2025.

In the USRA Stock Car finale, Schlangen started third and surged to the lead, holding off a strong field to secure the victory.

Finishing second was nine-time 10-time USRA national champion Mitch Hovden of Decorah, followed by Taylor Skauge of Caledonia, Minn., in third. Brady Williamson of Rushford, Minn., took fourth, and Lynn Panos of Calmar rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mod Feature saw Skauge swap seats and then dominate from the sixth starting position to claim the win.

Philip Ihde of Decorah finished a close second, with Kyle Anderson of Decorah taking third. Marcus Swatek of Ridgeway earned fourth, and Nathan Butterfield of Galesville, Wis., completed the top five.

In the USRA Hobby Stock Feature, Junior Boyer of Calmar led the charge to victory. Joshua Ludeking of Decorah secured second, followed by Steve Larson of Decorah in third. Terry Quam of Cresco took fourth, and Ryan Crooks of Ionia finished fifth.

The USRA Tuner Feature was topped by Jeremy Hills of Postville, who started on pole and held on for the win. Tom Kessel of Waukon came in second, followed by Dalton Fels of Calmar in third.

Winneshiek Raceway’s next event is scheduled for May 31, featuring a $1,500-to-win USRA B-Mod main event. USRA Stock Cars, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Tuners, and Eco-Mods will also be racing. For more information, visit www.winneshiekraceway.com.
