KANSAS CITY, Kan. (May 23, 2025)—Lakeside Speedway kicked off Friday night with the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, but an electrical issue halted the action after the completion of the heat races for the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.

In the USRA Stock Cars, Buz Kaster of Kansas City and Chris Dishong of Atchison took the victories.

For the USRA B-Mods, Nic Bidinger of Perry, along with national points leader Jon Sheets of Nevada, Mo., and, Basehor's John Baker claimed the wins.

The abbreviated night left fans eager for the rescheduled double features in the coming weeks.
