Williams, Schoffen share Rocket winner's circle

PETTY, Texas (May 22, 2025)—Rocket Raceway Park hosted an action-packed Thursday night of racing for the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, delivering thrilling competition in the USRA Limited Mod and Sunoco USRA Factory Stock divisions.

In the USRA Limited Mod main event, Conner Williams of Sibley, La., started on the pole and led wire-to-wire to claim the victory, but Coty Tupper of Blanchard, La., charged from fifth to finish second on the rear bumper of Williams.

Chase Hatton of De Berry took third, followed by Blake Beggs of Terell in fourth. Colby Williams rounded out the top five after starting seventh.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stock feature saw Sonny Schoffen of Celina surge from 10th to take the win. Deaon Redmon of Paris secured a strong second-place finish, while Gary Harvin of Fouke, Ark., crossed the line in third.

Ty Abernathy of Mt. Ida, Ark., finished fourth after starting 11th, and James Proctor of Paris completed the top five.

Both classes return to Rocket Raceway Park on Saturday, May 31, featuring track, regional and national points battles in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series. USRA Stock Cars are also on the card.
