Gallardo, Sandy march into Vado Speedway Victory Lane


VADO, N.M. (May 17, 2025)—Vado Speedway Park hosted the Armed Forces & Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, featuring thrilling races in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series with USRA Modifieds and USRA Stock Cars taking center stage.

In the USRA Modified Feature, Jake Gallardo of Las Cruces took the victory, followed by Jay Rosales of Las Cruces in second. Fito Gallardo of Las Cruces finished third, with Josh Cain of Rio Rancho in fourth. Austin Adams of El Paso, Texas, rounded out the top five.

The USRA Stock Car Feature saw Hunter Sandy of Albuquerque claim the win, with Devon Jobin of Alamogordo in second. Josh Cain of Rio Rancho took third, followed by Devan Smith of Las Cruces in fourth. Josh Beyer of Las Cruces completed the top five.
