Rain shortens Longdale's Walleye Roundup

LONGDALE, Okla. (May 17, 2025)—Longdale Speedway hosted Night 2 of the Walleye Rodeo Roundup on Saturday night, but incoming rain, hail, and lightning forced officials to halt the program early for safety. The USRA Limited Mods completed their feature race, while the USRA Modified and USRA Tuner features were postponed to a future date.

In the USRA Limited Mod feature, Jeffrey Kaup of Woodward took the victory, followed by Austin Bonner of Elk City in second. Alex Wiens of Newton, Kansas, claimed third, with Matthew Aytes of Laverne finishing fourth. Race Elliott of Clinton rounded out the top five.

The 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval will return to action on June 21 for Round 3 of the Woodward Steel Furious Four Championship Cup featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Limited Mods and USRA Tuners, plus Factory Stocks and Late Models.
