VADO, N.M. (May 10, 2025)—Vado Speedway Park ignited the night with thrilling dirt track action on Saturday, May 10, during the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series. The event drew fierce competition across two divisions, captivating fans at the southern New Mexico oval.

In the USRA Modifieds, Jake Gallardo—the 2015 USRA Modified National Champion from Las Cruces—took the lead on lap 12 and powered to the 25-lap feature win by just under one second over Mark Smith of Anthony. John Neal Reid of Loving took third, Austin Adams of El Paso, Texas, finished fourth and Nick Rivera of Las Cruces secured fifth.

The USRA Stock Car featured Jonathan Burton of Las Cruces leading wire-to-wire for the feature victory. Devan Smith of Las Cruces earned second, followed by Josh Beyer of Las Cruces in third. Zach McCoy of Las Cruces placed fourth, with Cale Riggs of Hatch rounding out the top five.
