Charles in charge at Valley Speedway


—Valley Speedway ignited the night with high-octane action during the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series on Saturday. The USRA B-Mods delivered a fiercely competitive feature race.

In the feature, Austin Charles of Baseho charged from fourth to claim the victory.

Sebastian Wolfenbarger of Blue Springs secured a strong second-place finish, followed by Travis Alexander of Tonganoxie in third.

Mike Ryun of Kansas City, Mo., took fourth while Leavenworth's Terry Bruner of rounded out the top five.

Valley Speedway will host its next event next Saturday, May 10, featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series with USRA B-Mods on tap.
