GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (April 28)—The new USRA Kevko Racing Northern Lights Modified Series presented by Real Racing Wheels opens its first race weekend May 1-3 at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin. Running alongside the World of Outlaws Late Models during the Dairyland Showdown, this new series gives Modified racers a chance at good payouts with $2,000 to win Thursday and Friday, and $3,000 to win on Saturday.

Each night, the series will feature a full program with $350 to start Thursday and Friday, and $400 to start on Saturday. The launch of the USRA Kevko Racing Northern Lights Modified Series promises intense competition at the 1/3-mile showplace, with drivers chasing strong payouts and early-season momentum on one of the country’s premier dirt racing stages.

“We're so ready to get the season rolling,” said MTS Promoter and Co-Owner Tyrone Lingenfelter. “Bob and I can't think of a better way to do it than the Dairyland Showdown! It brings together two marquee divisions and should pack the house. The weather look tremendous!  We want to welcome all of the great race fans in the area and beyond, to see all the improvements we've made over the off season. This is a can't miss show.”

The series previously announced a point fund in line with the other two owned and operated Heartland Promotions series. $7,500 will go to the winner, all the way to $2,000 for 10th place, with an 80 percent attendance requirement minimum.

This weekend also marks the largest single event purse for the World of Outlaws Late Models in 2025 with $292,550 earmarked for the late model division alone. DIRTVision will have all of the live coverage for those unable to attend the showcase in person.
