NEW RICHMOND, Wis. (April 26)—Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, delivered a thrilling night of dirt track action on April 26 during Saturday Night Racing presented by Fastenal.

Kory Ressie of Alma claimed victory in the USRA Late Model feature, earning his first Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series win of the season in a dramatic finish.

The 20-lap feature showcased fierce competition. Rice Lake's Josh Wahlstrom led the opening five laps before Ressie surged ahead on lap six. Ressie maintained his lead through the final laps, holding off a relentless challenge from two-time defending USRA Late Model National Champion Cade Nelson of Hermantown, Minnesota.

In an exhilarating finish, Ressie edged Nelson by a mere 0.409 second after a 10-lap battle.

A two-time USRA Late Model National Champion (2019-2020) himself, Lucas Peterson of Stockholm crossed the line in third, followed by Triton Krause of Fountain City in fourth and Larry Fitzsimmons of East Bethel, Minnesota, in fifth.

Kody Koski, who was unable to finish due to misfortune early in the race, lost his points lead, leaving Peterson and Nelson tied for the top spot in the track points championship.
