Turner, Schweizer, Clancy triumph at I-35 Speedway

Shadren Turner won the USRA Modified main event.
The I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo., erupted with high-octane action on Saturday night during Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series competition as Shadren Turner, Rodney Schweizer and Chad Clancy powered to electrifying victories.
Fans were on the edge of their seats as drivers delivered heart-pounding battles on the dirt oval.
In the USRA Modified feature, Shadren Turner of St. Joseph, in his rookie season in the class after a standout career in USRA B-Mods, claimed the win.
Houston Johnson of Kansas City, who entered the event atop the USRA Modified national points standings, finished second. Lee Hibner of Chillicothe took third, followed by Mark Schafman of Edwardsville, Kan., in fourth, and Tyler Hibner of Chillicothe in fifth.
The USRA Stock Car main event saw Rodney Schweizer of Kansas City, Kan., dominate to secure the victory.
Jaylen Wettengel of Topeka, Kan., charged to second, while Brad Derry of Bedford, Iowa, claimed third. Justin Custer of Liberty finished fourth, and Chris Mercer of Excelsior Springs rounded out the top five.
In the USRA B-Mods finale, Chad Clancy of Polo—the 2014 USRA B-Mod National Champion—powered to the win.
Brayden Bennett of Tonganoxie, Kan., took second, followed by Stephen Clancy of Odessa in third. Rylan Gibbs of Osceola made an impressive charge to finish fourth, and Lonnie Hibner of Chillicothe completed the top five.
The Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series continues to deliver high-octane excitement at I-35 Speedway with racing returning next Saturday, April 26. In addition to the USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods, on-track action will include Pure Stocks, Limited Late Models, Eco-Mods, Sport Compacts, Lightning Sprints and Jr Sport Compacts.
