Underwood tops Sunoco USRA Factory Stock qualifying at Super Bee Speedway

—Super Bee Speedway in Chatham, La., hosted an action-packed evening on Friday, April 18, 2025, as part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series and the second night of the Sunoco USRA Factory Stock Showdown.
Following Thursday’s opening night, where Craig Pursley won the Quick Time Dash, the event showcased fierce competition in the Sunoco USRA Factory Stock and USRA Tuner divisions.
In the Sunoco USRA Factory Stock heat races, Mark Underwood Jr. of Ruston set himself up nicely as he won both of his qualifying races.
Shawn Graham of Shreveport; Craig Pursley of New Waverly, Texas, and Dalton Faulkner of Cut and Shoot, Texas, won the other three heats in Set #1.
In addition to Underwood, Set #2 heat race wins went to Josh Daughtery of Bossier City; Vivian's Brett Frazier and Johnny Torres of Crandall, Texas.
The USRA Tuner feature saw Justin Frith of Monroe take the win. Ava Cannady of Hodge finished second, while Dee Harris of Choudrant charged to third.
The Sunoco USRA Factory Stock Showdown concludes Saturday with the $10,000-to-win finale, alongside USRA Limited Mods, Street Stocks and Crate Late Models.
