After a weather-delayed start to the 2025 season, the engines are finally set to roar at 81 Speedway this Saturday, April 12, as the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series kicks off under sunny skies and warm temperatures.

With the forecast promising highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, fans, racers, crews, and sponsors are gearing up for an electrifying night of dirt track action in Park City, Kan.

The event marks a triumphant return for the beloved speedway, which has been itching to get the season underway.

Saturday’s lineup features a full slate of high-octane racing, including the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Seires featuring USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods, alongside the JLR Property Management 316 A-Mods, TM Fencing Super Stocks, Wickham Heating & Air Conditioning Mini-Stocks/Tuners, and Allied Battery Stock Cars.

From wheel-to-wheel battles to jaw-dropping slides through the turns, the night promises something for every dirt track enthusiast.

Fans won’t want to miss out on the concessions either. The 81 Speedway’s world-famous Frito-Chili-Pies are back, paired perfectly with a cold beverage to keep you fueled for the action-packed evening.

The pits open at 3 p.m., giving crews and drivers plenty of time to prepare. Grandstands welcome spectators starting at 5. Drivers must check in by 5:30 to be ready for the night’s events. Hot laps begin at 6:15, setting the stage for the main races. Racing officially starts at 7, promising a full evening of thrills.

For those heading to the pits, adult passes cost $35, while children aged 5 to 10 can enter for $15, and kids 4 and under get in free. General admission tickets are priced at $15 for adults, with seniors 65 and older and military personnel paying $12, and children 10 and under admitted free of charge.
