Dean charges to USRA Modified win at at Creek County Speedway

Brandon Dean won the USRA Modified main event.
The Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series kicked off its season at Creek County Speedway on Friday, delivering an electrifying night of racing.
The USRA Modified feature stole the spotlight as drivers battled fiercely on the 1/4-mile clay oval. Brandon Dean of Sapulpa dominated from the pole position, piloting to a commanding victory.
Finishing second was fellow Sapulpa native Chad Davis, who started third in his familiar No. 52 machine and made a late charge but couldn’t catch Dean.
Rounding out the podium was Danny Padilla of Phoenix, Ariz., who started seventh and clawed his way through the pack for an impressive third-place finish.
Racing continues Saturday with Kellyville Night featuring USRA Modifieds and USRA Tuners joining the program, plus 305 Sprint Cars, Factory Stocks, Mini Stocks, Junior Mini Stocks and Midgets. Anybody with a current US-issued ID or Licence with a Kellyville address will get into the grandstands for free.
The pits open at 2 p.m., gates open at 4, hot laps happen at 7 and racing starts at 7:30.
The Creek County Speedway is a 1/4-mile clay oval located southwest of Tulsa on I-44 to exit 211, then 0.3 mile south on SR 33, then 1.0 mile west on SR 66 to 18450 US 66, Kellyville, OK 74039.
