Jaylen Wettengel won the USRA Stock Car main event.

Friday night at the Lakeside Speedway, the USRA Stock Cars put on a show with heat race winners Jaylen Wettengel and Rodney Schweizer showing the way in the feature.

Schweizer and Wettengel raced side-by-side as the green flag waved with Devin Stock and Chris Dishong challenging. Schweizer started to fade as Stock settled into second behind Wettengel with Dishong doing battle with Gene Claxton.

Wettengel was not denied and again raced his way to the front and parked in Nextran Victory Lane, celebrating with family and friends.

The USRA B-Mods rolled to the track with Shadren Turner and of John Baker both winning their heat races, setting the stage for the feature.

Turner and Baker battled early along with  Tim Karrick in the early stages with Turner capitalizing and taking the lead while Karrick settled into second and held off the challenge of Darrion McLaughlin as the race progressed.

Kerry Davis showed speed and consistency racing to the front to challenge but running out of laps late as Turner captured the feature win in the Whitt-prepared No. 56 with Karrick coming home second.

Davis had a solid night finishing third with McLaughlin a close third at the checkers. Aaron Marrant had issues in his heat race and started deep in the feature and raced his way to round out the top five finishers.
