USRA Stock Care driver Blake Adams of McIntire, Iowa, earned the Allstar Performance Allstar of the Month honors for May 2024. Adams picked up three wins at the Chateau Speedway in Lansing, Minn., plus feature race victories at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., and Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wis.

His photo on the USRA Facebook page also generated the most "likes" to determine the Allstar of the Month. His 282 blue thumbs-up clicks beat out a worthy and formidable USRA Stock Car challenger Josh Cain of Rio Rancho, N.M., who garnered 244 likes.

Adams has competed at ten USRA racetracks this season and currently on top of the USRA Stock Car national points while Cain sits fourth in the rankings, racing primarily at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, N.M., and Legacy Speedway in Grants, N.M.

Meanwhile, two former USRA Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national champs—Dustin Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, S.D. (194), who has seven USRA Hobby Stock titles, and Chris Hovden of Cresco, Iowa (102), who captured the division's crown in 2009—were third and fourth in the tallies.

Both have six wins this season, but Hovden leads the USRA Hobby Stock national points with one more start than Gulbrandson. He leads his fellow dominator by 82 markers.

Every month from March through October, the Allstar Performance Allstar Driver of the Month recipient will be recognized on social media and the USMTS and USRA websites and receive a $275 product certificate from Allstar Performance.

In addition to padding the year-end points funds for both organizations, Allstar Performance provides thousands in product certificates to drivers under both banners. To be eligible, the driver must display the Allstar Performance decal on both sides of the racecar. Awards will be mailed directly to the driver.
