Jon Sheets won the USRA B-Mod main event.

Kasey Shields and Jaylen Wettengel won their respective heat races as the USRA Stock Cars put on show for the ages.

Sheilds took the front as Wettengel moved by and Darrin Schmidt, but the big mover was Brent Filder as he came from the back to the front to race among the leaders.

Shields worked his way by Wettengel as Schmidt took his turn in the front when a late caution bunched the field for the closing race to the checkers.

Wettengel had a great restart and took the lead to claim his second feature win of 2024 with Shields second and Schmidt third.

Fourth went to Chris Dishong as Fielder crossed the line with a solid fifth-place finish.

USRA B-Mods had three heat race winners: Jon Sheets, Patrick Royalty and Jon Baker, setting the field for an outstanding feature.

Sheets used a front row starting spot to launch out front with Baker and Tim Karrick challenging. Shadren Turner challenged Karrick and passed for second only to see Karrick storm by on the inside.

Kerry Davis and Chad Clancy put on a show for the fans racing side-by-side for many laps for fourth and fifth.

As the checkers flew, Sheets won in his first appearance of 2024 at the Lakeside Speedway and celebrated in Nextran Victory Lane.

Karrick raced his way to second with Turner third. Davis again saw a top-five as he placed fourth with Clancy a solid showing finishing fifth.
