Hibner, Hanes, Eaton opening night winners at I-35 Speedway
Tyler Hibner won the USRA Modified main event.
Opening night at the I-35 Speedway was an exciting night of racing.
A first for the transponder world of the past few years, the white flag lap of the first USRA Modified heat race was a dead heat as both Houston Johnson and Tyler Hibner crossed the finish line on the next-to-last lap in a tie.
Johnson claimed the win at the checkered while Hibner claimed the win in the feature race.
The USRA Stock Car feature was led from start to finish by Nic Hanes with numerous challenges from those immediately behind him.
The USRA B-Mod feature was a 15-lap battle between Tim Eaton and Aaron Marrant with Eaton taking the win after numerous challenges from Marrant.
It was a great night of racing.
