Cresco gets set for Frost Buster opener

CRESCO, Iowa -- The Cresco Speedway started off the 2004 racing season with a test and tune night at the track Friday night.

The Cresco Speedway is being promoted this year by Fast Track Productions. Numerous drivers reported that the track was in great shape and very fast. However, untimely rain fell to cut the practice session short.

The racing action kicks off next Friday night, April 23, with the Frost Buster Special, which is being sponsored by Fast Track Promotions. Hot laps start at 7:15 p.m. with heat races to follow.

This years line-up includes WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Street Stocks and Hornets.
