IRA sprints to race in Lancaster, Wis. Aug. 31st and Cresco, Iowa Sept. 1st

CRESCO, Iowa (Aug. 27, 2002) - The Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Cars will compete in "Border Wars VI" This weekend. The big weekend starts at Grant County Speedway in Lancaster,WI,Sat, Aug,31st.Also racing will be the Modifieds,Limited Stocks & 4-Cylinders.For more info you can contact the promoter Jerry Blue at 563-422-3562 or the race day phone is 608-723-2009 Then on Sun,Sept.1st the IRA series moves to Cresco Speedway at the Howard County Fairgrounds in Cresco,Iowa.Also racing will be the Hobby Stocks & Stock Cars for more info you can contact Tom Barnes at the Track 563- 547-3400

All the IRA drivers are expected at both events including point leader John Haeni along with Todd Hepfner,Kim Mock,Scott Neitzel,Steve Meyer,Joe Roe, Darrell Dodd,Bill Warren,Joe Symoens,Scott Uttech,Tim Ammon,Todd King,Dave Enders,Wayne Modjeski ,Ryan Irwin and Mike Stefka.Plus Minn drivers Matt Wasmund, Travis Whitney,John Sernett along with downstate IL driver Jim Moughan have all indicated they will be racing both events.Plus several more drivers are expected for both this weekends races.

Also several Knoxville drivers will join the field at Cresco.
