Tyler Hibner won the USRA Modified main event.

Saturday was Trenton Coca-Cola night at I-35 Speedway as fans were treated to a quick efficient race program by track officials and drivers as the final checkered flag would drop just before 10 p.m.

Trenton Coca-Cola representatives were on hand with giveaways for the fans as well as we start to get ready for next week's Hwy 36 Auto and Diesel Mike Knight Memorial.

The USRA B-Mods proved you don’t need numbers to put on a great show for the fans as track points leader, Corey Myers would roar to his second win of the season.

Myers would be challenged by Bobby Penney and Chase Moulton after a few restarts but would eventually pull away. Penney and Moulton would swap second and third place a few times before Penney eventually settled into second and Moulton third.

Scott Kunze would make it a four car battle a few times more before having to retire from the race due to mechanical failure.

The Medieval USRA Stock Cars put on a thrilling show for the fans as they ran green to checkered.

Nic Hanes would pick up his fourth win of the season with Jason Estes all over his back bumper for the entire length of the race as he finished a close second at the line.

Chris Dishong, Doug Keller, Jeff Dixon and Brandon Dixon would mix it up as well challenging the two front runners a few times before going into battle against themselves.

Dishong would finish third, points leader Jeff Dixon fourth and Brandon Dixon fifth.

Tyler Hibner would pick up his ninth win of 2023 as well as taking over the points lead in the USRA Modifieds at I-35 Speedway for the first time since the first month of the season.

His dad, Lee Hibner would work his way up to a second-place finish on the last lap of the 20-lap event securing a first and second Hibner father son finish.

Steven Glenn captured third as he battled Paden Phillips for position with Phillips finishing fourth and Tyler Grooms continuing his good season and fifth.

Congratulations to Tucker Bond, Fan of the Week sponsored by Show-Me Synthetics (Robbie Skipper), Thomas Racing, Austin Johnson Racing and Bud Wilson Racing Family.

Join us next week for the the Hwy 36 Auto and Diesel Mike Knight memorial as we honor the track prep guru.
