Mother Nature evened the score at two on Friday as cold temperatures, wind and a bleak weather forecast forced the cancellation of the races for the second time this year at Chateau Raceway in Lansing, Minn.
Sunset won’t race but hopes for practice Saturday

The weather continues to cause havoc for the Sunset Speedway Park as Friday’s practice has been canceled. Saturday was supposed to be the first race of the season but that has been changed to a practice in the afternoon until the sun sets.
Mineral City Speedway opener postponed to May 4

Due to inclement weather, the Mineral City Speedway has postponed the season opener to Friday, May 4. The same payout as previously announced will be honored.
