Pre-entered drivers as of Sept. 29 for the inaugural USRA National Championships presented by McCarthy Auto Group set for Oct. 1-4 at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.

With the kick-off of the inaugural USRA National Championships set for this Wednesday, Oct. 1, the list of those drivers eligible to compete in the Race of Champions stands at 300, including 98 USRA Modified, 46 USRA Stock Car, 123 USRA B-Mod and 33 USRA Hobby Stock drivers.

The inaugural USRA National Championships presented by McCarthy Auto Group is set for this Wednesday through Saturday, Oct. 1-4, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.

It was the 44th annual Points Championship Races presented by Cloyes Gear & Products, Inc. on Saturday at the Tri-State Speedway with Randy Henson picking up his fifth USRA Modified feature win of the season.

The Onate Knight Marching Band was in the house pumping up the crowd, and the drivers continued to give the fans what their money was worth Saturday night at the Southern New Mexico Speedway.

It was McCarthy Auto Group Championship Night at the I-35 Speedway Saturday to close out the weekly racing action for the 2014 season.

For the final time in the 2014 season, the Upper Iowa Speedway hosted both Season Championship Night and also welcomed the Iron Man Challenge for USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.

The regular racing season at Lakeside Speedway came to an end Friday night, Sept. 26, and track champions were crowned in three USRA divisions.

Tim Setzer showed everyone tonight why entering the night 33rd in points means nothing in terms of being a dominant force in the USRA Modified division at Lakeside Speedway.

Although racing is now complete at CMS for the year, drivers and fans are invited to attend one more event at the track this Saturday, Sept. 27, during the 3rd Annual Hog Roast beginning at 7 p.m.

The Upper Iowa Speedway will drop the curtain on its 2014 campaign this Saturday, Sept .27, with the Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods in action with USRA Hobby Stocks.
