Rob White won the Medieval USRA Stock Car main event.

Rob White of Lebanon led all 25 laps to earn the Medieval USRA Stock Car Summit Shootout qualifier win on Saturday night at the Lucas Oil Speedway.

White started on the outside of the front row and blasted to a 2.3-second lead over pole-starting Dean Willie by lap six. A caution at that point bunched the field in the 25-lapper.

Wille and James McMillin battled for second as White continued to lead through the mid portion of the race as the field finally settled into a consistent green-flag run after six cautions.

White’s lead was 1.3 seconds over Wille by lap 20, with Jeff Tennant running third and Mason Beck fourth. It was all White from there as he wound up 2.6 seconds in front of Wille at the finish.

"I've got that new Mid-State Machine motor and it's a pretty good piece," White said of his ability to control the pace on each restart.

Beck wound up third with Tennant fourth and William Garner fifth.

White took home $1,500 and clinched a spot in the USRA Stock Car Summit Shootout during one of the nights of the 10th Annual Summit USRA Nationals presendted by Chevrolet Performance, Oct. 2-7 at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series returns next Saturday, April 15. The USRA B-Mods will be the featured division with a special 25-lap, $750-to-win main event. USRA Modifieds and Medieval USRA Stock Cars also will be in action along with the Hermitage Lumber Late Models.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with grandstands at 5, hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:05 p.m.
