Drivers in the two open-wheel divisions are locked in tight battles with razor-thin margins that will come down to the final night of racing while the leaders in the two full-fendered divisions have simply to wait until Oct. 20 to be crowned USRA national champions.

Aaron Marrant finished of the regular season in grand style by winning the USRA Modified feature Friday night at the Lakeside Speedway while Jake Richards made the best of a borrowed car in the USRA B-Mod feature by taking home his third trophy of the season.
